In my time I’ve written policy, cleaned caravans, built lasers, served cream teas, programmed robots, washed dishes and maintained database systems. One day I hope to learn how to turn these into a sleek LinkedIn profile.
I’ve been an artist, a technician, a project manager and a youth worker. Then I became an intrepreneur, taking half a step out of the public sector to start a digital business and attend an accelerator programme in Westminster. Most recently I’ve teamed up with some awesome people to start ODI Devon – an Open Data Institute node for the south west and The Data Place, a social enterprise working on open data infrastructure and support; and joined the steering group of LocalGov Digital.
